Amazon’s internal translation app, SayHi, enables real-time translation in 72 languages and 114 dialects, helping 1.2 million employees communicate seamlessly across fulfillment centers. While the app revolutionized workplace communication, it lacked a distinct visual identity that reflected its transformative role.

We developed a brand symbol inspired by the app’s voice waveform, which, when in motion, speaks itself into existence. Rounded forms evoke connection and friendliness, while drawing from Amazon’s broader brand palette to convey plurality and harmony.

This visual language extends across the identity, creating a cohesive brand toolkit that mirrors the app’s clarity and simplicity, strengthening communication and connection across the company.
